In Bach & Beatles, iconic hits such as Yesterday, Hey Jude, and A Hard Day's Night are set alongside the timeless music of J.S. Bach, including the Toccata in D and Air on a G string. In the hands of the Charl du Plessis Trio, similarities and contrasts between these diverse styles are highlighted through fresh arrangements in swing, blues, and bossa nova.
The musical experience delivered by this ensemble offers music of international standard and entertainment for the classical connoisseur. Bach & Beatles has received a Kanna-award as Best Music Production at the Klein-Karoo National Arts Festival.
